Changes to objects:
A new Markup Features section is available in the Home tab of the Ribbon. You can now view 2D/3D annotation in 2D views or see an overlay of graphics and annotation in 3D views. You can now use the Selection tool to select a region of the view and select the Markup Options button to turn on 2D/3D annotation. The text and graphics annotations can be turned off or on by selecting the corresponding button.
The new Addresses feature makes it easy to create, view and edit standard building components with common features. For example, if you have an existing SketchUp drawing with a column, you can associate that with the new Table or Steel feature in AutoCAD.
Improved project management:
The new Project Manager is a single, intuitive workspace that helps you work collaboratively with other architects, engineers, and planners. The Project Manager can now contain multiple drawing environments, and you can easily switch between them with the Windows button in the upper right corner of the display.
An improved user interface:
There are new icons in the upper-left corner of the ribbon display. The new Insert, View, and Analyze buttons are added to the top of the ribbon display. All commands are moved to the ribbon’s upper left corner. This change allows you to save space on the ribbon display and makes it easier to access all tools at the same time. The Document Setup and Options buttons are now more accessible.
