The content is often hosted on a web server and the content is then delivered from the web server to an end user device, such as a computer or mobile phone, which is the content consumer. Oftentimes, the content may be accessed by the end user device through a web browser. Each web browser is configured to receive certain protocols for enabling the web browser to download the content. The protocols are typically used for the “open” delivery of web content. Accordingly, the protocols for enabling the web browsers are commonly referred to as “open protocols”.
Content distribution systems, which are located within the content delivery networks, facilitate the delivery of the content to the end user devices. Content distribution systems include “proxies” for enabling the end user devices to receive the content. The proxies work in tandem with a proxy-aware web browser in order to download the content from the web server. The proxied content may include a proxy rule that enables the content to be received by the proxy. The proxy rule is not limited to receiving content originating from a specific content provider. Rather, the proxy rule may be configured to receive a plurality of content items or streams from a particular content provider, and the content provider may be referred to as an origin server.
The proxied content, which is received by the end user device from the content distribution system, is a “cached” or “stored” version of the content. Subsequently, the content consumer uses the proxied content to view, listen, or otherwise access the content. When the content consumer requests to access the content, the proxied content is generally returned by the content distribution system.
Due to the decentralized nature of most content distribution networks, the content is distributed to the end user devices through one or more delivery nodes. The one or more delivery nodes relay the content that is proxied or otherwise delivered to the end user device. The content is distributed to the one or more delivery nodes by an edge node, which is the first node to access the content.

Why is my SQL Statement returning the same values for 2 distinct queries?

I’m trying to figure out why my sql statement will execute without throwing an error, but will not return a value. Here’s the code I’m using.
$query = “SELECT Hometown, Summary, Description FROM Locations ORDER BY Hometown ASC”;
$result = mysql_query($query);
while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)){

$classify = $row[“Location”]. ” – “. $row[“Hometown”]. ” – “. $row[“Description”]. ” “.$row[“Summary”];
echo $classify;
}

If I copy that block of code and run it by itself it will create the table, but no data. I will run the first 2 queries separately and receive results, but when I combine them in the same script I get no output.
UPDATE – I realize this is correct now, and I’m just tired, so I’m accepting @bznate’s answer instead

A:

$query = “SELECT Hometown, Summary, Description FROM Locations ORDER BY Hometown ASC”;
$result = mysql_query($query);

You’re mixing mysql_ with mysqli_ and it’s pretty bad. Use mysqli instead of mysql as it is deprecated.
Also, you should fix your code. I’d suggest to start from “You don’t know what you’re doing”.

Just in case you haven’t noticed, Object.hasOwnProperty seems to be a very controversial method, and not the fact that it’s controversial, but rather the fact that it’s a method.

The argument for using that method is that it’s actually a class function, and therefore it’s not an API feature, and it can be used on any type.

“Yes, it is. If you pass it a value that’s of the correct type
